Policy for multiple submissions of abstract

When one author (or one institution) presents multiple papers, in principle, one presenter per registration needs be made. However, in order to encourage the publication of excellent research results, the ISSW34 LOC considers that one presenter could present a maximum of two papers, in this case, the first paper needs to be paid for full registration and the second needs to pay the registration fee equivalent to 33% of the full registration. Therefore, if one presenter (or institution) presents three or more papers, full registration is required starting from the third paper.

ISSW34 Proceedings Publication

ISSW34 Scientific Review Committee will review all submitted abstracts and select the abstracts that qualify for full paper submission to ISSW34 Proceedings. In early 2024, we will publish 3 volumes of ISSW34 Proceedings with Springer Nature. We will provide a discount price of 120 Euros per volume (40% cheaper than the regular price) for registered participants. To purchase proceedings at a discount rate, participants must register for ISSW34 and pay the proceeding fees, VAT(7%), and shipping fees. (The shipping fee will be different depending on the orderer’s region. Springer Nature will send the volumes directly to the orderer’s address. Further notice will be given later. Instructions for the preparation and submission

  • All abstracts must be written in English with a minimum of 500words excluding title and author fields, and must not exceed 2 pages(size A4).

  • The abstract should include a concise description of motivation, problem statement, approach, results and conclusion of your work. You may use key figures, equations and/or tables to convince the reviewers that the submission is able to demonstrate the purpose of the work.

  • The default font is Times New Roman, and 10 point size. All lines should be exactly line spacing at 10 pt and fully justified. Sections or sub-sections are not required. Paragraphs should be indented. One additional line should be put in between each paragraph.

  • The abstract must be submitted via this website’s online system.

  • Authors must write the abstract in the format of the abstract template(Microsoft Word or LaTeX Format).

  • Authors can modify their abstract before clicking the submit button, but cannot change it after submission. Please check your abstract carefully before final submission.

  • Authors can choose to present an oral or poster presentation.

  • A confirmation letter of the abstract submission will be automatically sent to the author who submitted it via the e-mail they entered when creating an account.

  • The acceptance of abstracts will be notified by e-mail to the presenting author. The information may also be found on the 'My page' of the website.

  • No Registration (of the Presenter), No Presentation.
